How to Use Amazon Lockers to Get RV Goods

By Cheri Sicard
If you travel a lot in your RV, even if you’re not a full-time employee, the video below will probably come in handy. If you are a full-time RVer, you’re definitely going to want to know about that. In this one, the Wayward Waggsa couple of full-time VR shows how you can get Amazon orders on the road and while traveling using Amazon lockers.

The concise video gives an overview of how this service lets you pick up orders almost anywhere you travel, even if you can’t receive mail where you’re staying.

I know this is something I will probably use a lot in the future as I tend to spend months traveling. So I thought some of our constantly wandering readers might like it too.

Dustin and Leslie explain how to order to ensure your packages get where they should when they should. There are a few things on the checkout page that you need to pay attention to. More importantly, you will need to change the address of the nearest Amazon locker or Amazon counter. The video shows how easy it is to find this, wherever you are.

The video also details the general operation of the Amazon locker service. In fact, you can ride while they go to the locker to pick up the things they ordered.

Consumers have three days to collect the goods once they have been delivered. Amazon lockers and counters are also great for dropping off returns.

When you arrive at the locker, you have two choices for picking up the Amazon merchandise you ordered:

  • Scan a barcode on your phone
  • Manually enter a code on the locker

Sometimes the bright sun can interfere with the scan, so it’s good to have manual backup available.

Either of these methods should cause an Amazon locker door to magically open. Take your merchandise and go your way. It’s that easy to get Amazon orders while you’re on the go!
