Kansas City Chiefs and MADE MOBB join forces for limited merchandise drop

The Kansas City Chiefs are teaming up with local streetwear brand MADE MOBB for a delivery of limited-edition merchandise ahead of their wild card playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Chiefs have partnered with MADE MOBB through the NFL’s Local Merchandise Collaboration initiative, which allows teams to collaborate with local brands. Launched in 2013, MADE MOBB seeks to bring a Midwestern touch to streetwear. Each of their designs seeks to harness Midwestern lifestyle values including hard work, craftsmanship, culture and community.

“We are incredibly thrilled to have the opportunity for an official collaboration with the Chiefs. As a local streetwear brand in Kansas City for nine years, The MOBB has dreamed of this moment. For the collaboration, we worked with the Chiefs on an official merchandise remix, taking stadium gear to the streets,” MADE MOBB said, via a press release.

In collaboration with the Chiefs, MADE MOBB has designed a limited-edition graphic tee and hoodie, with only 1,000 units produced of each design.

“As one of Kansas City’s premier streetwear brands, MADE MOBB was the perfect fit to help us bring this unique product offering to life,” said Lara Krug, Chief Executive Vice President and Director of marketing, in a press release. “The streetwear game is a traditionally underrepresented market for teamwear due to licensing considerations, but having the opportunity to create something so different and unique is going to appeal to many of our fans. We’re thrilled to see this product flying off the shelves as we begin our playoff run.
