Lead Merchandise Replenishment Analyst NF3 at Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS)

Manages replenishment processes from vendor and item setup to sales and inventory analysis. Partner with buyers to ensure all process components are accurately defined, from fill rates and weeks of supply to cycle time and lead time from suppliers. Provides oversight of financial plans, working with buyer, monitoring order generation and impact on stock levels and OTB. Responsible for defining, implementing and maintaining a consistent methodology to effectively execute the process.

Acts as the lead replenishment analyst, relaying replenishment and analysis manager instructions, initiating key tasks, setting work pace and managing team deadlines. Demonstrates work methods and provides work-related advice. Ensures that site materials and tools are available to carry out the work. Keep the process manager informed of all issues. Monitors work and achieves productivity goals. Ensures that employees follow safety, security and housekeeping rules. Responsible for solving problems with varying degrees of difficulty. Leads on-the-job training and maintains procedures/instructions. Serves as Section Head and will perform emergency or short-term, non-recurring supervisory duties.

Review historical data and current trends to identify opportunities by line of business, department, item, order, and/or location. Responsible for the administration and placement of all replenishment items. Maintain data integrity on existing styles by validating accuracy with all configuration components (vendor, class, style, cost/retail). Implement strategies and apply analytical results to determine new styles to add and old styles to remove from replenishment.

Monitor exception reports and communicate recommendations to the buyer to maximize the item(s). Review data on a predetermined cycle. Continuously monitors the effectiveness of review cycles and makes recommendations for change if necessary. Recommend programmatic plans, alternative action plans, policies and future strategies to support goals and objectives.

Exercises analytical ability, judgment, discretion and applies in-depth knowledge of management principles, practices, methods and techniques to continuously analyze the accuracy of the replenishment process. Recommends improvements to procedures. Manage multiple work assignments simultaneously or by priority.

Collects relevant data to assess needs; research records, review reports, regulations and directives. Makes recommendations on corrective actions and performs follow-up inspections. Plans, develops and prepares analyzes for current and projected programs to achieve goals and objectives. Collect, verify and adjust data from various sources and perform qualitative analyzes manually and through automated systems. Evaluate quantitative results and consult with subject matter experts to identify important factors, relationships and trends to produce accurate and meaningful data.

Provide world-class customer service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assist customers and communicate positively in a friendly manner. Ask questions to determine, verify and solve problems. Check satisfaction on the quality of goods and services. Take action to resolve issues quickly. Alert the next level supervisor or the appropriate point of contact for assistance in the event of a problem.
