Proton R3 launched a new range of engine oils and merchandise

KUALA LUMPUR: The motorsport division of the local automaker Proton, R3, has imagined a new range of lubricants and clothing. Reconnecting with fans and expanding brand reach are the main ideas behind the launch of the new range. It is marketed by Proton Global Services (PGS), which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Proton Edar.

KEY POINTS TO REMEMBER

  • What are the benefits of genuine Premium R3 oils?

Premium R3 genuine oils guarantee better performance for the current generation of direct injection turbocharged engines by combating excessive heat.

  • How much do the original Premium R3 oils cost?

R3’s Premium Genuine Oils range includes a fully synthetic engine oil called P1, which is RM208. Semi-synthetic P2 motor oil sells for RM158. The introductory prices of the two engine oils are RM178 and RM128 respectively, which are valid until April 30, 2022.

  • Let’s talk about lubricants first. The new range of genuine Premium R3 oils is developed in association with Petronas. It is available in full synthetic and semi-synthetic formulations, which are developed from the latest Etro 6+ base oil. These ensure better performance for the current generation of direct injection turbocharged engines by combating excessive heat.

The new R3 Premium Genuine Oil range meets the highest levels of certification by the American Petroleum Institute (API), with SP and SN Plus ratings.
