Children In Need 2022 will air on BBC and BBC iPlayer at 7pm on Friday 18 November, so generous people can donate by buying Pudsey Bear products online or in-store with the charity’s exclusive partners.
BBC’s Children In Need is an annual telethon dedicated to raising funds for the charity of the same name. Children In Need funds thousands of charities and projects nationwide in the hope of giving every child the childhood they deserve and the support they need.
Bake sales, marathons and sponsored bike rides are popular fundraisers and the Pudsey the Bear mascot has become a famous face in its own right since its introduction in 1975.
Pudsey’s friendly cuddly face has been plastered on every merchandise possible, so here’s how to get your hands on the limited-edition 2022 collection.
Where to buy the official 2022 Pudsey Bear t-shirt and merchandise
You can find official Pudsey merchandise online on the Children In Need website or on the high street at exclusive partner stores ASDA, Greggs, F Hinds and One Stop.
The official Children In Need 2022 unisex t-shirt is available from ASDA in the signature yellow – the children’s version is available in yellow and black. This year’s graphic features a bright star and polka dot pattern, with a Pudsey arrow slogan. Priced at £9, a minimum of 57% of the cost will be donated to charity.
However, the T-shirt is already out of stock at the supermarket, so we recommend buying online from the association’s website, where adults can choose between the black and yellow editions.
Nonetheless, other Children In Need products are available from ASDA, including socks, jumpsuits, pajama sets and hoodies.
Run, don’t walk – Britain’s favorite bakery has teamed up with Children In Need to offer limited-edition sweet treats: Caramel Pudsey Biscuit; a gingerbread cookie from Pudsey’s best friend, Blush; and two vanilla buns from the bear duo.
If accessories are your thing, F Hinds offers a Pudsey jewelry box, piggy bank and alarm clock.
The One Stop convenience store has the widest variety of Pudsey products, ranging from water bottles (£3.50) to the classic Pudsey ear headband (£2.50). The latter even has a Strictly Come Dancing edition, which comes in a bright leopard print (£3).
