Yoko Taro sells merchandise and will donate part of its sales to Ukraine

Yoko Taro revealed on Twitter that he set up a Bukkoro merchandise store on the Suzuki online store platform. The shop sells Yoko Taro logo t-shirts and hoodies, each available in two colors: black and white. A portion of the proceeds from these merchandise sales in March 2022 will go to donations for humanitarian aid in Ukraine and other parts of Europe.

Both T-shirts are available for 4,510 yen (~$39). The white hoodie is priced at 4,983 yen (~$43), while the black has the highest price tag at 5,533 yen (~$48). All items are available in four sizes, from S to XL. People outside Japan can also order these clothes, as the online store offers the WorldShipping service.

All Yoko Taro merchandise mentioned here is part of the collection of humanitarian donations enacted in Suzuri in March 2022. For every item sold by March 31, 2022, GMO Pepabo, the company behind the online store, will donate 1,000 yen to the Japanese Red Cross. The latter will then channel donations for rescue operations in Ukraine and other European regions. Yoko Taro will also be make a personal donation 300 yen for each item sold within the same duration, although he has not yet confirmed his own donation goal.

Yoko Taro is a Japanese game designer best known for the Deny and Drakengard series. His latest game released to date is Voice of the Cards: The Abandoned Girl. The role-playing game with card-based visuals is available immediately on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
